Steve Rutledge has 30 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. He joined Alfa Insurance Companies in 1984 as a securities analyst and portfolio manager in the Investment Department and was promoted to Vice President of Portfolio Management in 1991. Rutledge served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer from 1999 to 2010. He was promoted to Executive Vice President, Business Development in 2010 and was named Executive Vice President, Operations in 2012. Prior to Alfa Companies, he was a senior accountant with Ernst & Young, specializing in the audits of financial institutions.
